In my job, many of my clients are poor people who don’t have basic health care. It’s just so sad to me that we as a people have let these folks down. I remember what it was like to not want to go to the ER when I really needed to go, just because I knew I couldn’t possibly pay the bills. It’s definitely a worthy goal.

How I did it: Well, it was pretty nasty and ugly at the time. I started falling in love with him when I was already engaged to another. Eventually, I came to the conclusion that what I had with guy #1 was not true love, it was security and good friendship. I had to get out of it and follow my heard. It was painful, but it was worth it. I'm just glad we found each other and I try never to take him for granted. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I kept living in places that didn't have a view of the water because they were convenient at the time. When my husband and I got married, I told him this was one of my goals, to be able to see the water from my house. We moved to Tacoma and found a great rental property with a view. I don't know if we'll be able to afford a view when we go to buy a house, but for now, I'm loving my abode with a view of the blue. Read how I did it…
I hope to get to go to Europe again very soon. Next I’d like to go to mainland Europe.
I am so glad that I learned to knit and stuck with it now through three projects. I’m now working on four and five. It’s a great way to make idle tv or travel time productive, and it’s very calming. It’s also cool because now I have a lot more confidence to work on my other goals, especially sewing. I suppose my next goal should be “Knit a sweater.” Two scarves and a hat down, a million possible projects to go.
