Been living in Sydney for a year and three months now. It’s been one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do in my life so far and I still miss Manila every single day, but I have learned and broadened my horizons in so many ways having lived here, that I never would’ve been able to otherwise. And for that, yes, I am thankful.

01. Christmas
02. random acts of kindness
03. getting a high grade and knowing i deserved it.
04. when someone does something really nice, just because.
05. simply being with my high school friends.
06. sincere compliments
07. family reunions with every single cousin and aunt and uncle present
08. laughing ‘til my stomach hurts so much, over the simplest things.
09. being around children, and acting like one too. :)
10. good music
11. people taking a genuine interest in getting to know more about me
12. shrimp-fest!
13. people believing in me, even when i’m having such a hard time believeing in myself.
14. waking up at dawn, just when the sun’s about to rise and seeing the colors of the sky change every so slightly.
15. when someone says, “i remembered you when i saw/ate/heard…”
16. complete season VCDs/DVDs of my favorite TV shows
17. realizing i have a lot of things in common with someone
18. rain rain rain
19. travelling
20. smiles from random people i pass by in the hallway or street or wherever
