I ended up moving to another state, which caused me to ditch all sorts of stuff. The decision of what to keep and what to sell/toss is a lot easier when I’m asking myself, “Do I really need to take this all the way to the new place?” I filled up a small dumpster near my apartment, which probably annoyed my neighbors and landlords, but it needed to be done. I also gave away about half of my considerable book collection, mostly to the local library store, and sold other stuff on ebay, with varying amounts of success. My junk is greatly reduced, but I could still stand to get rid of more. I still look around me and think, where did this all COME FROM??

Started this, in a first little baby step kind of way, by putting some stuff up on half.com. Sold two things already, including a $70 textbook! Yay! I’m not sure I love half.com’s stingy postage reimbursement, but maybe I’ve just been too generous with my shipping. Will work on that in the future.
I have a pile of stuff that needs to go on ebay as well.
I hit the 80 pound mark. :) It’s been tough. I can’t believe how many food issues I have, and how seldom I eat because I’m hungry, but rather because I’m depressed or bored or whatever. I’d hoped to be at or near the 100 pound mark at the end of September, because I have a wedding to go to, and that would have been a great number to brag about. But 80 is still pretty good.
I still don’t think I look a ton different, though my clothes are all too big. No interest from any guys either. Sigh. Someday…
