I took spanish 103 and learned that a classroom environment will not help me any further in becoming fluent… at least for now. Either a non-grade conversing group or traveling to spanish-speaking place would work much better for me at this point.

How I did it: Teaching abroad was such a good experience! I'm not trained whatsoever, and I was very nervous going into it but I came out so fulfilled. I LOVED my students and I miss them so much. I volunteered in Accra, Ghana for three months through an expensive program (Projects Abroad), but if anyone is interested in teaching in Ghana, don't hesitate to ask me anything! I could help you find a school without all of the super expensive organization … Read how I did it…
How I did it: Never made a cake from scratch because I never really thought about it. I also never really thought that it would make a difference… but OH MAN my cake was delicious! I made mississippi mud cake. I found the recipe on foodnetwork.com and the recipe is from Emeril. It really wasn’t that hard to make at all. Soo worth it, and fun to make. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I spent hours editing and re-editing until I was finally happy. I'm a perfectionist so its hard to satisfy myself but eventually I did it. It was frustrating and tedious at times but you just have to keep going to make something worthwhile. Read how I did it…

I got a 3.68 for this term… A, A-, A- and B+. I worked soo hard, but it really isn’t worth it. I’m a little proud but I don’t really care about it. All that work I poured in, all the stress I pushed through.. for four letters? Grades are bullshit
its my stress reliever, an escape to keep me sane…
I’ve learned “I don’t blame you” by Cat Power, “Mr. Blue”, learning Adele’s “Someone like you” and working on some others. Its the best.
