Starting Day 8 and I woke up with fairly severe nausea. I would have called in sick, or at least late, to work but I have told people in the office about the cleanse and didn’t want anyone to be worried or to catch any criticism about it, so I did my best to get moving. Moved straight to the toilet where I sat and chilled for about ten minutes. I’ve found that after drinking the laxative tea at night I always have one elimination as soon as I wake up, and then several
more after drinking the SWF. I’m still trying to get down my SWF
right now in my office and it is the hardest to stomach that it’s been yet. Ugh! This could be a rough morning…
My skin is very soft this morning but has a pallid complexion to it. I am hoping this goes away after another elimination or two, as well as the nausea and shaking in my hands.
I’m not going to quit and I’m glad to see and feel evidence of toxins being stirred up and preparing to exit my body, but I wish they’d hurry up and get the hell out so that I can function normally today!
Wrote this earlier. It’s now later in the afternoon and I’m feeling much better. Lemonade has been hard to stomach and I cancelled a lunchtime session w/ my personal trainer in favor of taking a nap instead to rest. Don’t want to push it too hard! Tongue is super-coated and all my boyfriend is getting from me are pecks on the cheek and quick lip kisses. He does not want any of this halitosis action!

Starting Day Seven and posting my first entry after finding this site here last Friday. I tried the MC once before and cracked on the sixth day, a Saturday, when I got stranded w/o my lemonade running errands. I cheated a tiny bit during those six days as well. Didn’t have the self-discipline to hop back on it. This time I haven’t cheated at all, which amazes me! The human body is so adaptable and so capable. Last night my boyfriend and I took turns listening to eachother’s stomachs (weird, I know), and while his sounded like an atomic bomb was exploding inside (he had eaten Mexican food for dinner while I sat and watched), he said mine sounded like nothing was really going on at all. It’s so nice to give your digestive system a real rest!
Anyway, I’m feeling pretty good! I want to stay on the cleanse longer than 10 days but am taking each day as it comes, one at a time. It has been a wild ride so far from major headaches and even vomiting in the first 2 days, to “leaking” a little after a SWF during a session w/ my personal trainer, to surviving St. Patrick’s Day w/ high social pressure to drink and not taking a single sip of alcohol or cracking my cleanse. Small successes…all part of the adventure…Hoping that today is a high-energy day and that more are on the way!

This was far and beyond the best experience of my life to-date.
