Here in China, we students in senior 3 don’t have anything like A, B or C. We just have endless exams, points & rankings. The ranking is kind of a stupid thing, but if you get a high one, everyone around you treat you differently. My definition about “get through an exam” is that I should be No.20 or better in it.

I got a book named “The Bonesetter’s Daughter” from my cousin during the winter vacation. The book is written by Amy Tan, a Chinese female writer now living in the States. Now I’m @ about 1/3 of the whole book, and it just attracts me like a magnet.
I’ve finished “A Tale of Two Cities” by Charles Dickens, in 3 days. Worth reading!
Among all the characters in the novel, I like Sydney Carton most. He is less perfect than Dr.Manette, Darnay and Lucie, but more realistic than the latters.
