How I did it: Eating salads was good at first, but I used a lot of dressing and all those greens didn't leave my tummy feeling good. I started to focus on rice and beans with veggies, and stir-fry with tofu, and that was great. Also cereal with soymilk. Why is this such a hard goal for me? I can’t seem to find time to practice, and once it snows I think I will put this off another year or so…
I’ve got a decent draft of the text, and sketches for all the images I want. Now I’m working on learning to use inkscape and the gimp to see if those will be useful tools for illustrating the book. My second choice would be watercolor and collage mixed-media, and if I get in a rut with this book I have two other strong ideas I want to work on.
