In March 2010… They do a head shave fundraiser for cancer at my university every year, and I have decided that I’m going to shave it a year from this coming March. I figure that should be a decent amount of time for me to grow out my hair so that I can donate it as well. It is currently just touching my shoulders, and I don’t plan on getting much more than a slight trim whenever I get my hair cut, so it oughtta grow a good bit by then.

by U2. It has to be one of my favorite songs ever because I feel like I can relate to it. It is such a phenomenal song and it kind of moves me somehow everytime I hear it. I have almost always felt as though I have been looking for something. At this point in my life, I am not a very religious person, just because I have not been exposed to much as my family has never been the churchy sort. I have no idea whether I believe in God or any other “higher being” but I feel like I am somewhat of a spiritual person, if that makes any sense at all. I feel like I can sort of connect on a different level with my friends and I think that maybe that’s why I like this song so much…I have no idea if the lyrics are really about Bono’s (or anyone’s) search for a deeper understanding in his/their faith or whatever, but I think that it could be interpreted that way and I think that’s what I get out of it. Plus it’s just got a killer drum beat. The Edge is effin’ awesome. I will continue to search for whatever it is that I may be looking for and I’m sure this song will continue to keep me excited about it. (and yes, I do realize how impossibly nerdy that may sound) :)
it has been easy to continue and my mouth feels fresh and clean after brushing and flossing…and my dentist has said that it looks better too!
