I have been fighting my shyness all my life. I got to point where I got really sick and tired of putting myself down for who I am, so when I feel like sitting alone or not talking as much as everyone else, so be it. I am me, and if you don’t like it, too bad!!!!

It is a wonderful thing to see a person who can come out of themselves so much as to help another person. You are right, helping someone is very rewarding. More rewarding than a steak dinner, or new earrings that rot away in a drawer, or a new big screen Tv , that after 6 months has lost its newness, or anything else that money can buy. True happiness does come from helping other people and seeing what a nig difference it has made in their lives. Hats off to you Shaardool! Thanks for reminding me of the importance of helping others. :)
