How I did it: I started riding my bike about four months ago and then even five miles seemed to kill me. I just made it a weekly activity, inviting different friends to join me and sometimes going by myself. Every time I tried to go further than I went the time before. I had gotten up to 35 miles when my friend, Robbie, asked me to go for a bike ride Saturday afternoon. He decided we should go for 50 miles.
