Well I want to begin working toward getting my US citizenship before it’s too late. There is just so much I’m cut off from without a citizenship it’s too important to ignore…Here’s a little background info:
I was born in Saudi Arabia, and at the age of three moved to America with my family. I basically overstayed my visa and have nothing, no social security of green card. My best option is to wait until my brother, who is a citizen, turns 21 and then through that get myself legalized.
2 years until that happens though..
So now I’m going to just prepare and make sure there aren’t any hitches, and get my I-94.

Since I am applying to a competitive art school I have 3 months to really push myself and learn drawing. I talked to an admissions office and she said with 2 months of good practice I could be comparable to other applicants, and since my only weakness is my drawing abilities that will help.

I skipped out on early decision since I am unprepared. My essays need to be written and I need to retake the SAT (which I did dreadful on).
My list now includes RISD, Carnegie, Stanford and DAAP. In the coming weeks I’ll be writing essays, trying to get my community service done and retake the SAT.
