I started filling out 2011-2012 FAFSA forms today. Hopefully the fact that I no longer live at home will improve my chances of getting financial aid.

How I did it: My goal was slightly different than how this is listed: My specific goal was to have someone else win me a goldfish at a carnival, not win it myself. Makes it more special =) My friend Megan and I decided to go to this annual carnival, the Morton Pumpkin Festival, which is held in early September. We knew that they had the game with the ping pong balls and goldfish, and it reminded me of my goldfish goal on my "to do before I die" list. S… Read how I did it…
On Friday July 30, I finished the Summer 2010 Mini Tour! Can I just say that all but 1 beer on this tour was AMAZING. Old Chicago now owes me a t-shirt for the mini tour (they were out of small’s), and a deck of cards (for reaching beer #10 on the overall tour).
Another small detail of this goal I have set for myself is that I am doing it quietly; the only person/place I’ve mentioned it to is this website… if I told most people I know about my wanting to volunteer for charity work, especially my interest in child advocacy or mentoring (such as Big Sisters or GoodGuides) they’d laugh (its true! I told a friend I wanted to be a child mentor and she laughed, a lot). I am doing it solely for myself, which makes it even better.
