How I did it: Well, there was basically no choice but learn it. My entire family moved to Austria and now, I'm the first one to speak German on a quite good level.It was a big struggle, because I always thought the language 'sounds ugly' and 'is too hard' and other stuff like this. How I did it: My entire family decided to move to Vienna, because my dad has been offered a job that was really worth going for. I knew few sentences in german, such as 'hello, my name is ...' and 'how are u?', but not enough to actually understand anyone. It was a really strange, but very very interesting experience.
