I’ve been to Paris, Grenoble, Avignon, Arles, Meribel (in the French Alps quite near Grenoble), and Stes. Maries de la Mer on the Mediterranean. Every city was gorgeous, interesting, and full of lovely people. Don’t fall prey to the misconception that the French are rude – if you’re polite and try to speak a little bit of French you’ll be fine.
