pros:
-it looks good in a ponytail
-alot of compliments
-different hairstyles your can do
cons:
-gets thick
-gets frizzy
-split ends
-huge hassle to brush, wash, and take care of
-wavy hair (the weight of long hair pulling on your follicles bends them, so you’ll start growing wavy hair in some parts)
-dull
-irreparable/long lasting damage even after you cut it
-hot and sweaty in summer
i grew my hair long for two and a half years without barely a trim. even now, half a year after i cut it up to my shoulders (it was down past my elbows before), i still have wavy hair in the front, something that started when my hair was long. breakage is prominent too.
and i never got the long, sleek, and shiny locks i was hoping for.

i have an ancient minolta x-700, which i absolutely adore. i want a digital slr pretty badly, but they’re just so darn EXPENSIVE.I’ve got basically everything i need- 2x teleconverter, 28-200 zoom lens, flash, etc. and i think it cost me about 100 to 150 bucks total.
and these digitals are what, 300 dollars? but so, so tempting.
by the way, sorry about the lack of caps- my arm’s broken.

I have a minolta x700 (slr). It’s pretty old and I got it off ebay, but I love it. I have a 28-200 zoom lens, 2 35 mm lenses(I have an extra), a teleconverter, and a couple other little ones. I’ll have to check.
I love to shoot black and white ISO 100 portraits of people, that’s my strong suit. And no, not those stiff, centered, studio portraits.
In May my photo teacher is going to be putting one of my photos in an exhibit in Philedelphia- hopefully someone will buy it!
If I can figure out the working of my darn scanner, maybe I’ll scan something and post it here. =]
