my trick is working!!

When I balance my checkbook, I round every withdrawl up to the next dollar, and every deposit down to the last even amount… I’ve been doing this for almost 2 months, and when my checkbook says I have $1, my bank says I have about $150… not a great enough savings there to check this goal off, but I’m getting closer! Now I just have to stop looking at what the bank says I have, and then spending that! Maybe I should revise my goal to “learn to live within my checkbooks means” :)

Finally!

I got a wild hair up my behind one day, and went with a friend who already had an appt, found a pic I liked, made an appt, and viola! I now have a tattoo of a poppy on my shoulder. It’s very nice. I really REALLY like it, and I plan on getting more. I’ll post a pic soon.

mouthwash

My Listerine (Costco-sized) expired, so I bought some Tom’s of Maine because that seemed like an eco-friendly, body-friendly, natural choice… and as I’m sitting there swishing away I start to read the ingredient list… it has an ingredient that’s derived from natural gas in it. Ewww. So I think I’m going to finish this bottle and find something new… and I am going to rinse well. Very well.
