Listening to the songs that I grew up with, Eagles… England Dan and John Ford Coley… Journey.. Old, slow and classic rock and roll songs that gives you that fuzzy feeling and brings you back to those late nights of searching who you are and coming of age, trying to find answers to life’s questions. Now thinking back, do I like myself better then than now? I feel that that was so long ago, not unrecognizable just different and my ways of thinking. But music is good for the soul, listening and being transformed back in te time when I was idealistic, no care in the world, having the feeling that I can make a difference!!!

Working nights is hard especially being there for the family, reading her a book, kissing her goodnight an cuddling in bed before dozing to sleep. Those times are so rare and previous when working nights. The next best thing is a phone call, een if it means a short, “I miss you, going to bed now.” it’s not the same but hearing those words on the busiest of nights is refreshing.
It may not seem a lot but today was productive in a sense that I spent time playing with my daughter and taking a walk as a family in the evening. Those simple pleasures in life that do count and when she is older she may recall the conversations we had over an evening stroll. It may not seem much but it count!
