If i do this I get to knock 3 things other things off my list: surf (she wants to as well), visit sea world & swim w/dolphins (b/c Kenyon wants to do this at sea world!).

And of course it will be wonderful b/c I’ve never been to southern California & we will probably also go to Mexico. After all, I went to her high school & college graduations so I should go to her phd graduation too :)

backpack through Europe alone

I’ve ordered a few books off amazon.com. I’ve decided if I don’t get into my certification program or I don’t get a residency right away then I am going to do this. It’s somewhat financially irresponsible-I’d have to take out a loan-but I know how upset I will be if I don’t get to start my program.
If I don’t get in for the summer/fall, I’ll delay my graduate school graduation & take the fall semester off to travel. I loved visiting England so I would love to see more of Europe.

I’m applying for a unit at 2 hospitals for the summer. I’m hoping I can get a residency for the fall of 08. Originally I wanted to do it this spring but between my class schedule & my hard-drive going bad & taking my essays w/it, that was not going to happen.
I’m going to try to get my applications done over Christmas break so I can send them off w/plenty of time.
