How I did it: Signed up for two semesters of upholstery class through my local tech school. My ottoman came out of the dumpster. After all was said and done, it turned out to be about the same cost as buying a new ottoman, once I considered the cost of classes, fabric, and supplies. But I am going to continue to take the class and keep learning. Rescuing something from the trash and making it into something usable and beautiful … Read how I did it…
How I did it: First I researched which platform I wanted to use and compared pricing, etc. Then I signed up for a free trial so I could play around with it. I did a mock up in Illustrator, and then made all my graphics and buttons and added them to my page. After that, I scrapped everything I had done, made a completely new mock up, and the end was perfection! : ) Read how I did it…
