The history was awesome… being stared at by everyone I walked by wasn’t that awesome… but I guess it comes with the territory. Go forth and enjoy!
That running that 8K would help reach this goal, but alas, it did not. I ran pretty much 40 minutes, walked for about 7 minutes and then ran the last 7 minutes. So, that didn’t quite make the hour mark like I thought (which is good—- I was going faster than I thought!!!)
Another time!
I just finished running the St. Patrick’s Day 8K today. It WAS AWESOME! I’m using these as building blocks for training for a marathon one day. It’s great! Good luck!
