How I did it: I substituted school for work, and kept going until I was told that I had received enough qualifying credits to graduate. I also tried to suppress anxiety over mounting student loan bills, and a general lack of educational focus. Read how I did it…
How I did it: We have been Obama supporters since shortly after he announced his candidacy. How I did it: I lost 130+ pounds the old-fashioned way - eating less, working my tail off, and renegotiating my health-related priorities. Using BMR calculations, I try on MOST days to eat about 1,500 cals to lose, 2,000 to maintain, and 'whatever I want' on certain occasions. ; ) I do not restrict fat or carbs or meat. I am so glad to have (I think?) finally conquered this one. Whew!
It took: RT to Asia – MSP-NYC-Dubai-Dhaka-Jessore-Dhaka-Kathmandu – then a RT to San Fran, ending with a landing in MSP featuring a severe storm riding shotgun.

The flight through the storm encountered significant, G-dropping falls. Could it get worse than that? Would I care? I thought I was very calm, and did not freak out as anticipated.
I think I can file this as ‘done.’
