I’m going to take the easy way and get my piano teacher to sign this off. I was originally doing piano for my skills section, but my plans were foiled when i failed my exam. i thought it would seem awkward to ask my teacher to sign me off after i failed, but now, it doesn’t seem so bad, particularly since it would take me ages to commit to another skill. so this summer holis, i’m gonna get it signed off!

How I did it: Grabbed a guitar, and got a busking permit from the city council. Cost ten bucks. Convinced my friend to come along, we rehearsed for a day at home with about 10 songs. Then, just set up in the park, opened my guitar case, threw in a few dummy coins and started playing! We made forty bucks between us, minus twenty for the permits, that leaves ten each. We spent it all on lunch and ice cream anyway :D. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Picked up the book off my shelf and made myself read for around one hour per day.Yadda yud and I'm just typing nonsense now because 43 things is making me write more for this section. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Went to the RTA, waited in line after stupidly been so polite as to let a gentleman go in front of me, ended up waiting 20min for his forms to be filled out and another 5min for a girl to finish up. Then pressed a screen, basically. Read how I did it…

i think i’m starting to get the hang of this. things get easier when you realise that each clue actually contains a description of the answer (eg a synonym), as well as the cryptic clue. i’m a fan of the multiple-word ones cause they’re a bit easier to guess. Like “favourable outcome for a large number” = a good deal. And for most of them, you can guess the answer from the synonym rather than the cryptic clue. So how about “sharpen the ends carefully, dear” = honey. so to sharpen = hone, but what about the y? has that got to do with the “ends carefully” part? i guess so…. they’re pretty well thought-out, i reckon.
I usually drink 1×600mL bottle of water at uni. Then I just need to drink 2 mugs of warm water since it’s winter…. that’ll be over 1 L for sure! just gotta remember to do it :)
