How I did it: Was determined that I would achieve it. Also I was very lucky that my boys were very healthy to start with and that I had so much milk. The large milk supply was enabled by large amounts of food (a mars bar a day!). Read how I did it…
How I did it: I read the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility: The Definitive Guide to Natural Birth Control, Pregnancy Achievement and Reproductive Wealth" by Toni Weschler. This involved taking my temperature every morning to work out when I was ovulating as well as watching out for the signs of ovulation. And I am sure you can guess the rest! I did not expect to have twins though but am absolutely delighted! Read how I did it…
How I did it: My partner and I had to have many arguments with the NHS to request a natural birth as they were fearful that so many things can go wrong with a twin birth. I took a course in natal hypnotherapy (www.natalhypnotherapy.co.uk) which was fully worth the price and my partner spent the 20 hours with me and I did not need any drugs for pain relief. This one was a bit dull compared to the other ones in the series. I am one of these people that cannot leave one out though as I don’t want to miss any important bits of the stories!!
“The spirit needs nourishment to heal, just as the mind and body do. Build up the courage to act by inspiring yourself with the stories and wisdom of those who have changed their lives forever through taking action, through entering the dark night of the soul fearlessly. Sample the wisdom of unfamiliar traditions: Read the tales of the Hasidim or explore the Kabbalah; entertain yourself with Sufi parables or the poetry of Rumi; study the sermons of the Buddha or the simple teachings of Thich Nhat Hahn; examine the writings of the mystics from the Christian Desert Fathers to the Upanishad texts…As you absorb truths and stories that nourish the spirit, you will feel an enery released within you. It is an energy that resonates with universal truth and leads you into unity with your world…It is a vibrational force of such power that it can lift you for an instant out of your immediate circumstances. It can fill you with the perception that there is nothing you cannot handle and that all will be well, no matter the outcome.”
—Caroline Myss, “Why People Don’t Heal and How They Can”
