who says reminiscing is only for old(er) people? i enjoy classic tv programs even if they were done in the 50s like “i love lucy” (not my personal fav but u get the point). let’s see… i like popular shows and even those that sadly, didnt make the cut. anyway, these are my top 12:
cafe americain
class of ‘96
sabrina the teenage witch
felicity
ally mcbeal
boston common
two guys, a girl and a pizza place
looney tunes
a fine romance
perfect strangers
muppet show
northern exposure

So you walk softly and look sweetly and say nothing, I am yours for the walk; and especially when I walk away.

i was sickly when i was a kid, and though i didnt lose my hair, i understand how it feels to be sick. so every chance i get to help, i’d certainly do it.

maturity gives confidence and direction but being young at heart brings endless possibilities even in old age.

it’s one of those nagging thoughts and yet…
“I shall forget, to have thee still stand there,
Remembering how I love thy company.”
... indeed. :)

i just started volunteering and it’s great. i thought it would just be one of those ‘feel good’ experiences but as i get involved deeper, i begin to care more.

my dad bought me a lovely ukulele and guitar and i remember displaying them on the wall of my room that must’ve attracted spiders. now that i’m (hopefully) a little wiser, i actually wanna learn and say, the stuff i didnt do when i was a kid, i’m finishing ‘em all now.

for some reason, this has been an ongoing problem to me. how many alarm clocks have i smashed, and how many ppl have dared to wake me up only to run away scared out of their wits? sigh.

i enjoy entertaining close friends and i’m sure it’ll be worth the time and effort to know that they also like what i prepare before them.

i really do think that life’s too short for bitching and all that crappiness coz at the end of the day, it would only leave a hollow feeling. making ppl happy on the other hand, could open new doors (and relationships), it could even probably untangle the knot in someone’s heart.

well, no one’s too old (or too young) for life 101.

the other night, a fishbone got stuck in my throat and i did everything i could—and i mean everything (can’t outline them all or you’d be grossed out too ;) anyway, i didnt want to go to the hospital for something as minute as a fishbone, so who did i end up with? the greatest physician of all… God. i prayed to Him and it was all worth it. God heard me and comforted me as i looked out the window whimpering. i definitely want to spend every single day with Him, just to u know, “hang out.” God is indescribably cool.

i’m a risk taker, after all, we only live once… but before the thrills and chills, check out your brain without chucking it out, otherwise, spend the rest of your life throwing pity parties.

i get pissed off with myself for forgetting people’s names, i always remember a face but it’ll be more cool if there’s also a name attached to it.

i’ve been on tv a few times in the past (not the reality shows kinda stuff), anyway, last time was when i was at the live 8 concert and the WB crew wouldnt leave us alone :)

live 8 was a huge success, and what’s cool’s that the concert’s just across the st from where i live! critics gnashed their teeth ‘thinking’ that live 8 could worsen the situation. well, if they don’t like it, then they should come up with other ways to help coz frankly, running their mouths isn’t going to feed the 30,000 kids who die everyday from starvation.
thumbs up to ppl who aren’t afraid to step up and speak up.
