When we went to America last week, we toured around New England and then visited New York. My dad is a Red Sox fan but sadly, when we were in Boston, they were away and the same with the Yankees when we were in New York so we saw a Mets game (vs Astros). It was only the second public sport event I’d ever been to (and my first was less than brilliant). I loved the atmosphere, everyone was so friendly and enthusiastic, and the game was brilliant! Sadly, the Mets lost, 3-1, but the next day they ended their 6 game losing streak and so did the Yankees!
I’d love to see another baseball game and definitely an American football game (Go Giants!).

I’ve wanted to go to New York for years, it just always seemed liked such a ‘me’ place and when I visited last week, I found out I was totally right!
The buzz, the mix of people, the flashing lights, I love all of it.
My favourite attractions and highlights were seeing a Broadway musical, Central Park and The Met.
My top tip? Get a New York Pass. They cost $140 each for three days but it gives you entry to loads of attractions that we wouldn’t have paid for otherwise. We worked out that the amount of places we went to meant that we got all of our money back AND saved over $100!
I’d recommend EVERYONE to go to New York, there’s something there for everybody!
I’m a massive musical theatre fan so when I went to New York (!!) last week, I HAD to see a Broadway show.
We went to the tkts booth in Times Square, which I’d strongly recommend doing, and managed to get 3 tickets to Sister Act.
The musical was absolutely amazing, even better than the film I’d say (and that’s saying something, I’m a big Whoopi Goldberg fan). It was so funny and the songs were brilliant. The best part of it? Raven Symone! I grew up watching That’s So Raven so seeing her live was incredible. I knew she had a good voice but it was even better than I expected!
