I have officially driven on a proper road for a few hours every day this week. It has been incredibly exciting and I really miss it now. I got insurance for the week. I went all the way up to fifth gear and I’ve driven 80 km/hr!!!
I’ve also had some embarrassing moments. I had to stop at a traffic light and when it turned green again, I couldn’t start. So the two cars behind me over took and left me there feeling slow, stupid, slightly panicy, and a failure, which was fine, but then the lights turned red again and I was still standing struggling to move!
I also had my third lesson during the week. Didn’t actually learn alot. I had to stop due to road works and couldn’t start again. The lollipop man was there, waving frantically for me to movie. Urgh! I would’ve if I could!
And then there was when mother first took me out at the beginning of the week. She set me in a hilly estate and said ‘Off with you’. Hahaha, only almost killed three or four people…
I’ve learned so much and I’m super depressed going back to school tomorrow…
So Ive done my fourth unofficial lesson with my terrified mother! I can pretty much get the hand brake rightish and am able to go up to secong gear! I’m flying
