I've added organic eggs 3 months ago

to the roster of organics in my shopping cart. That and only buying organic meats is enough to keep me busy with this goal for quite a while.

I firmly believe this should be a process and not a completely 180o change in diet. Adding things bit by bit is less of an assault to my grocery budget, and makes me really appreciate each new item that is introduced.

I’m finding that working toward this goal has made me more aware of the food I’m eating. I’m much less likely to eat processed crap, and it has in turn made my diet healthier. I have a looong way to go, but I’m proud of the progress I’ve made so far.



start a new savings account
I opened a new CD today 3 months ago

..that makes 4 all together now. I’ll have to scrape by until Friday when I get paid, but it will be worth it to have the higher interest rate.

Hopefully I can stay on track with this and save enough for my biggest goal of all – home ownership!

I’m reading the Michael Palin Diaries 1969-1979. I’ve loved Monty Python for years and Michael is definitely my favorite. :) It’s facinating to hear the “behind the scenes” stories of the Pythons and how they went about creating some of their most famous scetches.
