I’ve finished my professional course…now to seek out the admissions board and get registered! Hurrah!!
One assignment left then the training wheels come off. Crazy!
Another run down! I felt much more comfortable this time which is great. My time got better too!
Another 5km tomorrow. I haven’t done too much training for this one but it should be a nice day out :-) and a good way to keep motivated for the city2surf in August.
Yesterday I attempted to run 5km. I am so very, very sore today! Om the up side it’s all good pain (my knees seem to have held up which is great news!)
I didn’t manage to run the entire way but I’m running further than I have before. I also have a 5km time to beat next time. Next time is incidentally in one month. To train!

I’ve really enjoyed doing this goal but I need to start thinking about defining an end point.
Here are a few more:
- cook for friends
- learn something new
- spend time buying good quality, local produce with friends
- go for a long walk
- participate in community events
- tuck myself up with my laptop and research my dreams
- catch up on my current affair shows on the internet
- chat with my bf
- call mum
So when am I done with this as a goal (eg it just becomes a way of life rather than something I have to work on)? Ok here goes: this one will be done when I think I have done this for the next month :-)
This weekend is a check!
So after around six months of going round in circles on this, I’ve decided to take a different direction.
I’ve found a course on iTunesU aimed at middle school students…it could be a good start. I’ve also found a good local class but may hold off on doing this until my weekends get a bit more free :-)
Ok so I’ve signed up for the 5km event at the running festival and the 5km run at the Mothers’ day classic. Hopefully I’ll be able to do a little better each time :-)
I’m doing another month of dance so my fitness is improving all the time. my orthotics don’t seem to be hurting as much and my hip stability is improving too! Hurrah!
- get up early and clean
- make a massive salad
- enjoy watching the rain wash the dust off my garden.
- chat to the bf
- shop for new music
- drink lots of tea
- watch old chick flicks
- read my magazines
I’m two weeks EARLY! (Now to work on the assignment that’s a semester overdue…)
go to Bali and rediscover stuff like grass, shopping and frsh milk in coffee.
It’s on! I’m designing my own pattern so I will always remember my time here :-) So excited. I have to have the design and materials figured out before September.

- showing my cleaning lady how to use my kindle (although I will only be abe to do this once)
...because the office door was left open repeatedly. It’s annoying becuase all the mozzies fly in. I hate working in a swarm of the things. It’s a bit distracting cnsidering that mozzies here can give you malaria and dengue…
People smoke outside my office. Smoke gives me a headache…and its a disgustin smell generally.
It was “my ring tone is better than your ring tone” and “I’m going to select a new ring tone on the highest volume for the next two hours” day in the office.
And I got two really hard emails to deal with – one managing the corruption in the office which isn’t my job but everyone looks to me to fix and the second from a colleague on a project that somehow has become my responsibility…even though its not my job and I’m not getting paid for it…
Ended up leaving the office after a few hours. I did manage to tone down the anger a lot but I really did just need a break after a while. Today I’m find ant I’ll be back at it in half an hour :-)

Whoo! Another two weeks without getting angry. Going well. I hve to get back in the gym though. This cold is kicking me to the curb a bit, particularly now that it is colder…
I had a bit of a blip on this one – there was a bit of civil unrest here of late. Had a glass with friends one night and two glasses the second night of lock down. Bit sad that I didn’t make it all the way through but I’m backon the wagon again…almost healed up :-)
