My kids aren’t what you’d expect. I have no birth children. I have no adopted children. I have no god-children.
I teach a sunday school class at my church and I want to inspire them. Inspire them to live better. Inspire them to love God, themselves, and their neighbors.
If I can make a difference in their lives, I will feel that I haven’t failed.
I want them to look back and know that I really cared about them, that they changed my life. Because they have.

I am getting better at it. I have been up in front of crowds and given announcements, speeches, and the like without vomiting, sweating, forgetting my topic, or fainting. I still cannot seem to get rid of that little “um,” word but we’re getting there.
Maybe it’s just me but there is something undeniably romantic and sweet about love letters. A good hand-written sentiment can mean so much. The fact that your significant other took the time to sit down, with pen in hand, and convey their feelings for you just thrills me. The content of the letter or the skill of the author is merely a sidenote. While helpful and assuredly makes the letter more sweet, it does not change the letter itself and the effort that was spent on it. That being said, I think that everyone is capable of writing love letters. I would be honored to receive one.
