Actually I ended up painting it robin egg blue and making it a play shelf for my little. Looks adorable.

How I did it: These were easier than I thought they would be. I just cut the bedskirt off, cut and hemmed it to the length of the window, hemmed the top, and sewed the ribbon. La. Read how I did it…
How I did it: My kitchen table is pine, a soft wood. After six years of homework, meals, games, art projects and everything else a busy family of 7 can inflict on a piece of furniture, the poor thing looked totally hacked. Now let me preface that I am not really talented in the crafty department, but this project was so easy, I'm sure anyone could do it. Before beginning, I took the upholstered chair seats off the chairs and cleaned the table well. The… Read how I did it…
How I did it: During the past 5 months I've lost 31 pounds, going from 141lbs to 110lbs, and from a *very* tight size 10 to a very easy size 6. As it turned out, there were no tricks, just simple math. One pound of fat is about 3500 calories, so that has to be the deficit in what you eat vs what you burn. I tried to keep my calories between 1000 and 1500 each day, doing better some weeks than others. I didn't use any drugs, not even caffeine, but… Read how I did it…

this should be marked done. The room does look pretty cute, all pink, cleaned up, organized, nice bedding. The baby (who is now 2) has been sleeping in there a couple months. The curtain rod I have is too short, so I’m trying to drum up a way to fix that for the valance, but the window has blinds. I still want to paint a tree and put the bench in there, but those might be better as individual goals, since they are each projects in themselves. I’m checking this off as done.
I’ve been doing pilates a little for the last three weeks. This week I did pilates twice and walked a couple miles with a friend once. I guess I’ll do pilates again tonight, that will make 4x exercising this week. Better than a poke in the eye.
