I’ve been writing music for about five years now, but I’ve never been super disciplined about it. There is a lot to be said about being in a phase where you’re inspired all the time by everything…which is where I am now, but it seems like the whole discipline thing pays off. I’ve COMPLETED 5 new songs in the past month, and they’re good! I mean I would actually play them for people. I’ve got about 15 songs from the past five years that I’m happy with before the most recent ones, and within those five years I hadn’t completed anything for about two years until this past december. wow… i’m excited.
