I’ve always felt like this is something that I could do, but just haven’t. It is also a lot easier in this day and age to be a vegetarian as the accessibility to meatless foods is exponential (especially in LA). How I did it: I went vegetarian for a month first, but then I started reading "The China Study," and realized I wanted to go vegan. How I did it: I had hardly done enough training, but I told myself I just wanted to finish (not matter what the time would be). I pushed myself harder than I ever thought I could go physically, and it was well worth it. Your body is amazing tool and I felt so proud to cross the finish line and cross off one of my life goals. I’ve always admired the art of tattoos and their permanence. I think that if I find the right mantra or image that symbolizes something that I want to carry with me my entire life, I will get that tattoo.
