Been up all night as I have the day off tomorrow (or today as it is now) and just checked the BBC weather and they reckon it’s clear skys for sunrise in one hour so might as well seize the day! Moved down to Portsmouth a few months ago so it’s about 5mins drive to the most easterly point of the island. A tiny spit of land jetting out into the sea, should be good. Will try and take a pic.

How I did it: I originally started off with the goal of buying nothing new for 1 year after seeing a group of people doing it in america. I ended up doing 6 months as I moved house at that point and that made it pretty impossible to continue. I allowed myself to buy new toiletries, food, work clothes and underwear. It started off easy and got harder which was a surprise. The hardest part was getting birthday presents for other people but it makes you m… Read how I did it…
How I did it: As cheesy as it sounds, me and my boyfriend knew we'd live together even before our first date but we are also sensible and didn't rush into it. We had a few problems. So on the 28th Nov 2008 I moved into my own house in Portsmouth and loved it. I was panicing… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I went along to a taster day with my sister being run at the local community centre. We then started lessons (with Nasira Bellydancing-Southsea) and went along every wednesday for months, We learnt great routines and then eventually performed them at local carnivals and parades in our amazing outfits. The only reason I stopped was because I've moved to Manchester but my sister still goes and I'll be starting lessons up here soon :) Read how I did it…

I’ve pretty much already planned to do this in July now after my boyfriend asked me but now is the tricky part of telling my family as I currently live on my own but near my family in Portsmouth and my lovely boyfriend lives in Manchester!! Hmmm, it’s going to be an interesting few months…
I’ve been going to classes for a few months now but I won’t consider this goal done until I’ve completed our first public performance which will be June :)
