Been up all night as I have the day off tomorrow (or today as it is now) and just checked the BBC weather and they reckon it’s clear skys for sunrise in one hour so might as well seize the day! Moved down to Portsmouth a few months ago so it’s about 5mins drive to the most easterly point of the island. A tiny spit of land jetting out into the sea, should be good. Will try and take a pic.
I’ve pretty much already planned to do this in July now after my boyfriend asked me but now is the tricky part of telling my family as I currently live on my own but near my family in Portsmouth and my lovely boyfriend lives in Manchester!! Hmmm, it’s going to be an interesting few months…
I’ve been going to classes for a few months now but I won’t consider this goal done until I’ve completed our first public performance which will be June :)
Been in my job as the triage nurse for the Hampshire and IOW Dental Helpline for 6 months now and I love it. I’m proud to say I work for the NHS and nearly every day is great!
Just brought my own bow and arrows and loving going out and using them whenever I want. Missed it when I was on holiday, can’t wait to get srtaight back out there and shoot in the sun again xxx
Raised £230 for cancer research uk doing this dressed as a pink cow girl so that made it even more satifiying crossing the finish line. deffinalty worth doing :)
Had my introdutory archery session yesterday and absolutly loved it! What was even better was that the guy said I have a ‘natural ability’ for it (I was just happy to hit the target!) I start proper lessons on the 8th of May and I really can’t wait. The best part is if I join the club they have a gourgeous range that they use with a club house based in a field by an old manor house and we have access to it 24/7 so i can practise whenever I want! Have a feeling I’m going to need to :)
I actually dyed my hair purple but that faded pretty quick and then stayed a cool baby pink for ages. Love being different, who wants to blend in? Not me! :)
I’m doing this on the 3rd of june with 6 other women from work! Really need to start training seriously though if I want to run the whole thing. Also going to be dressed as a cowgirl!We’re doing it to raise money for breast cancer research. If thats not a good insentive then I don’t know what is.
I had my tatto done last june after umming and arring over it forever! I love it so much and I haven’t regreted having it done once. I chose a symbol that ment something to me and also had it to mark getting into uni so it marked a point in my life. I also made sure it was quite simple so I wouldn’t get bored of it. If you are considering getting one, stop thinking and just have it!
