I went to see the careers advisor at university today and she was awesome! She thought all my work experience and skills and everything are amazingly good, and that any employee should be excited about employing me. Thanks!! I told her about all my ideas and plans and she basically said “sounds fabulous – go for it!” and gave me several ideas as to how to move forward. So this is my new task list:
- Write an open application letter detailing my interests and skills
- Research all relevant companies/projects and send applications
- Find out everything I need to know about eventually setting up my own business
- Contact organisation about getting my own business mentor
Better get cracking!

Well, my flat’s looking pretty decent now :) Can’t really do much more on my current income – got lots of plans for when I get a full-time job though!

It’s clean enough for now ;) And I’ve come to the conclusion that I just don’t like this place (I moved six months ago and it’s my first time not sharing) enough to keep it reaalllly clean. It’s better now though, and I’m concentrating my energies on graduating and finding a real job so I can buy my own place!
Good tip for cleaning though: make use of TV ad breaks. They’re long enough to get up and do something small, like declutter a small area, do a bit of dusting, whatever. And it makes the ad breaks far less boring! :D
