Next time you’re at a party, look around and see how many people are pretending to be occupied, when really they’re just standing there with their drinks, trying to find people to talk to. basically, the lesson is: everyone wants to be liked and to not be seen as stupid or lame. just smile at people, ask questions, and listen to what they have to say! people love talking about themselves, and if they are being listened to, they’ll think you’re awesome! seriously, try it sometime!
