the way that i have been getting better lately is hustling my but off. in soccer, i would say that if you dont have endurance and you cant last for more than 10 mins, you need to train your body. soccer is all about effort, determination, and applying what you learn; on the field. coach always tells me to hustle and sometimes i do but if you actually take that extra step or push yourself to sprint, you will be amazed at how much it can achieve for you. i am speaking from personal experience. to be honest, this is my first year playing soccer. i am a highschool freshman and this is the first time ive actually played on a team and basically the most in my lifetime. in the beginning of the year, i pushed myself during conditioning and training and it put me on varsity. fall season is over but we are in spring season now. in the beginning, i didnt know anything but now at the end, i would say that i have learned a lot and improved a tremendous amount. last friday, i had a game which i would say that its the best one that ive probably had all year. the reason i say this is because i pushed myself to run as hard as i could and i gave it all of my effort. it was the best i have ever played and i almost made my first goal. also, if you show your coach that you have improved, you might just get moved up. the reason i say this is because i started off playing full back at the beginning of the year but now at the end, i am finishing out the season playing midfield. and that requires a lot of effort, so if you push yourself to the limit and beyond, you will see great achievement and results.

my freshman year is almost over and basketball season is already over. but this summer i am going to find a camp and learn more. i am six ft tall and my main goal really for basketball is to work out my leg muscles over the summer so that i can increase my vert and be able to dunk next year. the best part about it is that i will be the only one on my team that can dunk if i accomplish it. this is my first year on a team and i was the only freshman on varsity so hopefully i will get better by next season.
i would like to do this becuase i have stayed on the honor roll for my entire freshman year and if i stay on it through my sophmore, junior, and senior year, i will have a really good gpa. this will help me get into the airforce academy. it will also open up many more oppurtunities for me like scholarships, and more. it will also help me to get a good score on my sat. it is something that i would really like to do.
