I’m working at a gas station as cashier. It’s not ideal by any means but it is an income which is what is necessary right now. However I am still searching for a job that I will enjoy rather than one that’s just for money.
I fully realize that getting a job in a new country wasn’t going to be easy, but this is ridiculous. I’ve applied for 20 different jobs now, two I’ve had interviews for. Two. Of those two, I didn’t get either.
The others either gave me no response, we’re taking anymore applications, had more suitable candidates, or just had too many applications already. Seriously.
I’ve signed up for two job agencies, I’ll let them do their jobs and get me a job. I’m seriously tired of being rejected. They can do it for me.
I may have an option of working with my husband, but I can only see that as being temporary as he’s only planning to stay with his company for another year or so. That is, unless something happens otherwise (sorry, it’s hard to explain).
