I Never Thought It Would Happen...
4 years ago
... yet happen it did. I just got back from a week spent working for a conference in Istanbul, and I was able to see the Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, the Grand Bazaar, and parts of the Topkapi Palace while I was there. I was also able to go on a cruise on the Bosphorus with the Mayor, no less! Istanbul is a great city and the people are all warm and friendly. I fell in love with the place and I definitely want to go back if time and money allow me to. :)
