hummmmmmmmmm grad school always seems to fall to the bottom of the list. i once had a prof tell me not to pursue further studies until i reached a point where i could think of doing nothing else. good advice, no? i’m not there yet.

wow! and i thought i was in trouble trying to get to all the places above land that i want to see. now three quarters more of the planet has opened up.

had the time of my life scuba diving off pemba island in the indian ocean. http://www.swahilidivers.com were terrific.

above is a shot of my instructor pat and i on the boat on the way back to shore after a day of diving.
