Besides leaving me with a sugar crash, I disliked soda because of its negative health aspects. Its crammed with simple sugars (the bad kind), takes the place of healthier foods, and is uneccesary with the other healthier options out there. These simple sugars will stay with you if you dont burn them off. These will add some pounds to your waist over time. Even diet is bad. While obviously leaps and bounds of the syrup water conconction called soda, it still contains caffiene (usually) and artificial sweetners.
I now only drink milk or water, and my body is in peak shape as a result. Try to stop. You know its bad for you, and the taste is not worth the consequences. One soda now amounts to more than my daily sugar intake, and I feel more energetic than ever.
In all, positive nutrition is a key to healthy living, and soda does not fit into that. Most people on this site (myself included), set goals for themselves or came here to better themselves, so why not stop now? Kick the can and start fresh. Its worth it.
