I finished a chapter yesterday. Still feeling a bit frustrated at how long this is taking me but nevermind. The next chapter is ‘shapes’. I’m trying to find out if I can take an iGCSE somewhere local (no coursework).

This is difficult!

I did German at school – failed miserably. Several years ago I took an evening class, GCSE, and did pretty well – I got an A. I moved to a different area afterwards – new job – and didn’t carry on as there was too much other stuff going on. That was a bad move as I seem to have pretty much forgotten most of what I knew. I’ve been making an effort to listen to german radio (via the ‘Deutsche Welle’ website, which is very good).

Still making slow progress with this – did some work on ‘inequalities’ last night. Managed them ok.
