I’ve always been inspired by the works of pop-art designers like Art Chantry, and artists like Vargas. So much so that 3 years ago I graduated with a BA in Graphic Design, hoping to follow in their footsteps. For the last three years I’ve been a programmer staring at code all day… how did THAT happen? Who knows… but it’s been years since I picked up a sketchbook, and it’s about time to get back to the basics again!

May! May! May!
I moved to Phoenix when I was 18, but I moved there with friends and parental support. I’ll be 24 in May, and I’ll be damned if I see another summer in Arizona. I’ve never done anything like this before – moving accross the country without any friends, job prospects, or a place to live – but I’ll have a few thousand saved up, and I’m pumped for a little adventure.
Anyone know what the job market’s like out there for a web/graphics guy in publishing?

John Reis, aka Speedo, aka Slasher… Former front-man for Rocket From the Crypt; Head-honcho at Swami Records; Guitarist/song-writer/personality-bearer of multitudinous side-projects – John Reis is obviously god, and who the hell wouldn’t want a beer with God?
