I worked at this job for two years, when may second year came around they kept saying they would talk to me about my raise but never did. Months went by and the company got slow and I got laid off. Then when I tried to get unemployment they tried denying it saying they fired me! After fighting for a month I finally got it and a month later they hired me back, making a quarter less than what I was making (without my second year raise and I had to fight for cause they were going to give me 50 cents less). My original hire date was coming up for my 3rd year and I asked if I get it then. They said no my raise and vacation starts all over again and Ill have to wait till march.
I make 9.50 an hour at a company Ive been working for for 3 years with no benefits. Minimum wage here is 8.00. A girl just got hired there making 9.50 an hour.
Yeah, I gotta get out of here this job is a rip off.

I need to loose some weight and tone up. I bought the game ea sports active for wii cause I heard good reviews. I’m taking the 30 day challenge and done 8 days so far. Lost one pound. I know it takes time to loose weight but its kinda discouraging to loose so slowly.

I’m so tired of reading articles saying our student debt is our fault and we choose to take out a loan. Well we are told that a college education is the best way to go. You start off college thinking it’s a step toward your future. You sign up feeling you can pay back some loans as they tell you you can once you get your degree. Then as you see how much you have taken out halfway what can you do? Stop going to school? then you would waste thousands of dollars and time. They wave in your face that you can not continue and reach your dream unless you take out a loan. So you keep taking more out. Once you get your degree you expect to get a better paying job and get more interviews. But you don’t. No one can afford to higher you or you don’t have enough experience. People can’t blame us for chasing a dream.
And the funny thing is:
some employers wont higher you if you have bad credit
and they can garnish your wages making it hard to survive life
So whats the sense in that? Take out loans to get a degree>>Get a degree to get a better job >>cant get a good paying job >> can’t pay student loans>> student loans take away a chance for you to have a better life.
But hey, I’m just ranting.
