I’ve been selling a lot of pottery!
and it’s making me very happy. nothing too huge, but pretty much everything I tried to sell sold. And a lot of it is practice sort of stuff too.

This might sound like a silly life goal. Especially if you know me, I’m not the dirtiest person in the world. I’m not the cleanest either though. I’ve started marking on my calendar when I wash my hair and I’ve realized that I used to wash it about once every 2 weeks. It never looked greasy because it’s really thick and curly but it didn’t exactly look nice either. I like the way my hair looks when it’s clean a lot more and so I’ve cut down to washing it about every 4 days. Also I have a lot more body washes, exfoliants, moisturizers. Part of me feels like it’s unnecessary and wasteful, and I had a ruitine that was very frugal, but I think for the sake of living my life not feeling like a bum, this is something that is nessesary.
So, I think I can call this goal complete.
well, it’s been a long time coming but I finally can say that yes I am comfortable in my own skin.
I remember looking in the mirror when I was little and trying to pick out any beautiful features I could and feeling hopeless. It really is a state of mind rather than something physical. I used to think how amazing it must be to look in the mirror and like what you see. Now I know, and it’s nice.
I should say the most posotive influence for me in terms of self image was yoga. It is a time when your body and mind can be in the same place at the same time and there is no negative judgement. You can go at your own pace and you’re only competing with your own limit. It really helped me love and feel comfortable with my imperfections.
:)
