I’m interested in a few programs around the world, but some of them are so competitive and the application process seems daunting. I’m going to give it my all, my best shot, and hope for the best. If I never try, I’ll never know right? Wish me luck!

How I did it: what happened to my body- in a good way! after just a few classes, i immediately saw improvements in my strength, coordination, and confident. i took classes about 3 times a week and tried to eat as healthy as possible (which is hard for me). just keep at it, and you'll improve so fast and see results withing weeks. How I did it: I've made an online booklist with my local library and make time each morning to sit down and actually read. I drink my coffee and read for about 1/2 hour each workday, and find that this quiet time really centers me. I try to spend a bit on the weekends reading, but I don't always get a chance. I've read so many books in the past few months, and really enjoy my mornings now. Reading helps me de-stress before the workday, and now that it'… Read how I did it…
How I did it: My roommate recommended an artist in my area, and it was up to me to find the font I wanted. I knew I wanted a quote, so I just had to decide how it should look. Read how I did it…

I moved to NYC knowing no one, and managed to create a life here and feel truly “happy”. I’ve always been shy and never had an abundance of friends, but I think I am finally in the right place; the place that is helping me grow into the person I want to be.
I took chances, was proactive, and found many great friendships in this city. I did all this in less than a year. I was truly myself, and although I did encounter mean and selfish people along the way, I have wonderful people in my life who love me for the person I am and the person I am trying to become.
I wasn’t afraid to take risks here, and fir the first time I really made an effort to get what I want. All my friends came from that journey, and I feel so proud of myself that I finally broke out of my shell. This was the first time I didn’t have anyone to lean on, and I’m so happy I made the most of it.
My journey isn’t over- I hope to meet more people in my “new” life here. Knowing I accomplished my goal is reward enough for now…
I just moved to the Upper West Side and I am SO HAPPY I finally achieved one of my life-long goals. Everyone should live in this amazing city at least once in their lives!
