I did this 30 hour famine thing with my youth group last year, and it was pretty hard, but really fun and rewarding. I got a lot closer to God, and realized how much food meant to me, and was a lot more grateful to God for it.

i live in minnesota, and i see turtles all the time on the road. my dad rescues them and we bring them home. we name them according to the road we find them on- we only have one or two at once- you can’t save them all- but they’re nice, not like some evil animal, or annoying or anything.
