I got up at 5:05 this morning. I can not get in the habit of hitting the snooze. I am notorious for hitting the snooze about 3-4 times. 2 days of 5am! I hope it keeps up.

I got up this morning at 5am! Woke up to “It’s Raining Men” on my phone, and I was automatically in a good mood. Day 1 down. Hopefully this is the start of something good.
I’m reading up on micro-controllers, and it’ll be quite some time before I get that nailed down. Independant of that I need to nail down a proof of concept of the fluid hopper.
I need this hopper to fill via gravity. Stop at a desired level below the level of the bottle filling it (preferably without moving parts). This may be difficult due to siphoning action. I could possibly use a hinge-ing float to stop air flow into the main bottle.
I need to source a linear actuator that doesn’t take a high amperage. I need to source one just large enough to drain the intermediate hopper, and close it back up again so it’s ready for re-filling.
Proof of concept for hopper.
Source a linear actuator utilizing minimal juice (usable with a run of the mill micro-controller).
