We had a great “trunk of treat” at our new church building on Halloween night. We aren’t finished with the new building yet, but it gave us an opportunity to get involved in the community. We had a great turnout! Tons of people came who are not involved in out church. Definitely a success!
I went to Alabama again to visit family this week. That’s the same thing I did last month, but we went to other parts of AL and saw some different people! It was nice to just get away for a few days. The best part is that I still have several days off of work to enjoy some time at home and get some stuff done here. It’s nice to travel and get away, but it’s also nice to enjoy some quiet time at home.
I’m a little bit behind in my 43 things. Let me catch up. We had a yard sale at our house in July. It was a lot of fun. We had several friends who also brought things over. We all hung out in the front yard all day while we got rid of our junk and people gave us money for it. Who came up with this wonderful idea? We’ll have to do it again next year!
