My boyfriend Daniel and I recently got our puppy Hank on April 15, 2007. He just turned 13 weeks this past Monday. Daniel has had dogs before, but this is my first dog ever. I just want to make sure I do all the right things as far as training him. We decided to crate train him and he is doing very well. He only pooped in the house maybe the first 2 weeks we had him, but he doesn’t do that anymore. We still have trouble with him peeing in the house. I have read that you shouldn’t expect your puppy to be fully crate trained/house trained until they are almost 6 months old. I can tell a difference everyday that he is getting better.
